We have represented hundreds of students on all kinds of criminal charges. If you`re facing a criminal complaint, you`re not the first person to call us, and you certainly won`t be the last. We understand that you may be too embarrassed to tell your parents. While you may not want to have this conversation with your parents, it`s important that you discuss your case with a lawyer to find out what options you have.

If you go to court without a lawyer or sound legal advice, you may very well make a deal that can ruin the rest of your life. As a state agency, the Attorney General`s Office cannot provide legal advice or representation to individuals, but it stores data on consumer complaints to identify new trends and can lead to enforcement action under the Consumer Protection Act. The ASUA Office of Legal Services is currently offering UArizona students a one-hour legal consultation with a licensed Arizona state attorney free of charge. Arizona State University`s Sandra Day O`Connor College of Law is committed to training lawyers who recognize their ethical commitments to the communities in which they work and live. As an ASU law student, you have many opportunities to participate in service and pro bono activities. Not only do you make a significant contribution to the community, but you also improve your legal education through hands-on experience. Clinical courses are an integral part of balanced legal education.

In today`s competitive legal environment, students with clinical experience have a distinct advantage when it comes to finding rewarding positions in their chosen fields. Under the direct supervision of faculties and practicing lawyers, most clinics offer the opportunity to assume direct responsibility for clients in a law firm. In addition to providing legal services, each clinic has a classroom component where students explore issues of competence and ethics, the relationship between lawyer and client. Alternative dispute resolution and the role of the lawyer as a lawyer in the court system. Since 1969, the clinical program at Arizona State University`s Sandra Day O`Connor College of Law has helped students develop the legal expertise and professional judgment they need to bridge the gap between the study of law and the practice of law. In clinics, students engage in challenging and rewarding legal affairs for real clients, and many students find that their clinical experience is the culmination of their legal education. For these reasons, Sandra Day O`Connor, a retired U.S. Supreme Court justice, called clinical experience one of the most important aspects of legal education.

ASU President Michael Crow is doing everything in his power to eliminate the stigmatization of ASU as a party school. Part of eliminating this stigma is enforcing alcohol laws for minors. Believe it or not, if you are named or arrested for alcohol consumption by a minor, a minor in possession of alcohol or possession of a false id, you will now be prosecuted. It doesn`t matter if you`re a student. Being a student is not an excuse in the eyes of the legal system. Once a complaint has been filed, the Bureau`s legal staff will review it and most likely send it to the company for response. The Company is required to return a written response to the complaint. The ATO will pass it on to the consumer. If the company does not respond or the issue is still not resolved, one of the office`s volunteer arbitrators may attempt to negotiate a solution that the company and the consumer deem acceptable. If the arbitration fails, the consumer may consider taking legal action alone, with or without a lawyer.

Data on complaints stored For generations, the college has been associated with alcohol consumption. I do not condone illegal activities, but it would be naïve to think that people wait until they are 21 to drink. If you`re under the age of 21, the two most common scenarios in which you encounter alcohol are at a party or with a fake ID to enter a bar.
