A few months before the exam, the general consensus seems to be, given that college-level analysis in humanities education prepares for the reading comprehension section, that logic games for LSAT must be studied before the exam, that extracurricular reading is necessary to speed up the speed at which one reads the text during the exam, and that you need to focus on your GPA to enter law school. However, some may study a year before the LSAT. This is acceptable for students who wish to conduct less intensive study for LSAT. The entertainment and sports industry creates unique legal challenges that require specialized knowledge in substantive areas of law, including civil procedure, contract law, corporate law, copyright, labor law, and real estate law. ESLA`s mission is to familiarize our members with these areas through networking and speaker events. We also host an annual in-house moot court competition featuring the winners representing Western Law at Canada`s hockey officiating competition. The Health Law Association organizes events and activities to introduce students to the field of health law.

Our goal is to facilitate connections between students and practitioners and to educate students about career opportunities in health law. We organize events on a variety of health law topics such as medical malpractice, health law policy and professional discipline. The Health Law Association is proud to host the annual Legate Medical Malpractice Moot Court. The competition provides 32 students with hands-on experience in the field of health law. The OSA plays a key role in expressing the views of the student body to the university`s faculty, the University of Wisconsin`s systems administration, and the federal and state governments. The OSA introduced differential tuition fees in 2004 to supplement areas where budgets have been severely cut by the state. Differential tuition fees have helped maintain quality services to students, such as the Writing Centre, School Counselling, Career Services, Counselling Centre and Study of Reading Centre. Other services and programs provided by the OSA to the student body include the Cabinet (pantry), the UWO Go transit system, student legal services, and the Titan Discount Club.
